(Beijing, April 10) The inaugural meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 2008 Women's Olympic Football Tournament/Qualification Play-off Match was held at the press conference hall of the Beijing Workers' Stadium, venue of the play-off match to be held on April 19. Sun Kanglin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal Government, and Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sport, deputy office chief of the Organizing Committee of the "Good Luck Beijing" Sport Events and president of the event organizing committee, called on all departments concerned to attach great importance to the event and make adequate preparation to ensure its success."
