II.Athletes , Coaches and National Technical Officials
The appointed hotel for athletes, coaches and National Technical Officials is Beijing Grand hotel during the Good Luck Beijing 2008 International Weightlifting Invitational Tournament.
1.Hotel
Beijing Grand Hotel (or Beijing Yuanshan Hotel) is a three-star hotel starting business in April, 1990. It is located in the area of Asian Games Village to the south of the International Convention Center, close to the International Scientific and Technology Exhibition Center, the China Science Museum and the China Ethnic Museum.
The hotel has 186 rooms including standard double rooms, large double rooms and suits. The 5 restaurants and several individual dinning rooms have altogether 650 seats. There are 9 meeting rooms in different size, which may host 600 people altogether.
Other facilities in the hotel include a coffee bar, serving 30 people at a time; a business center offering booking services for flight and train tickets to anywhere in China, as well as typing, copying, faxing and long distance call service. For entertainment’s, there are gymnasium and KTV rooms etc. Access to facilities in bath rooms and lifts for disables is also available.
